Mother Meera
Mother Meera is regarded by many as an embodiment of the Divine Mother, whose work is to bring peace and light to the world. Born in Andhra Pradesh, India, she has been giving her silent Darshan to seekers from around the world for many decades, blessing people of all backgrounds, cultures and religions.
In her presence, people often experience deep stillness, inner strength and a renewed sense of purpose. She does not ask anyone to change their outer religion or beliefs, but simply invites them to open themselves to the Divine Light and live with sincerity, humility and love.
Education in the Light of the Mother
The schools and free boarding initiatives inspired by Mother Meera aim to offer an education that nurtures the whole child — body, mind, heart and soul. Academic excellence is combined with values such as truthfulness, discipline, service and inner quiet. Children are encouraged to study well, be kind, and to discover a deeper peace within themselves.
Mother has often expressed that every child should have the opportunity to grow in a safe and loving atmosphere, whatever their financial background. The Free Boarding School is one small offering in this spirit, so that deserving students can receive good education, nutritious food and a supportive environment without burdening their families.
